Interpersonal Can-Do Statements
I love this activity- both for planning and for interpersonal tasks. HERE is a Google Doc version that you can copy/edit. |
Class Roster interview
Another gem from Meredith White: - Create a class roster with 5 columns - put 5 questions at the bottom row - assign students a certain number of people to interview - students fill in the answers of the people they interview. **I use this in each week of my lessons, using the EQs of the week in French. HERE is an example. -Shannon |
Partner questions
For lower level learners, I like to provide questions for them to ask each other. It's more important to me that they see and use accurate phrases. Here's how I do it: - create partner A and partner B questions. - put students in pairs - partner A will face the board and partner B will have their back to the board (that way they can't see the question, and they're forced to listen to their partner) - display partner A questions on the board. Partner A will ask Partner B these questions - have students switch positions - display partner B questions on the board. Partner B will ask Partner A these questions Easy, clear, and they get a little bit of movement. |
